That movie is both - funny and real. One of the smartest comedies I've seen in ages.
Just it won't take 500 but probably 50 - max 100 years to happen.
First examples of this brave new race of people are already in the streets, I know you've met them too.
My buddy from childhood was applying for work in a car factory and he indeed had to stick some cram into the right shaped hole.
