My dear friend, you have much to learn about your country if you rely on American press to tell you the truth. They are probably just looking for a way to spin the story before they tell it to you.
If you want the real truth on international events, you need to turn off your American media and look outside of your country for true news. Look at how the rest of the world reports the news and you will get a better idea of what's really going on.
Though it started as a whack job of a media outlet, Al Jeezera is now a hard hitting news source that trumps CNN or FOX by a long shot. They tell all sided to a story and often break news before most US outlets do. Check them out.
