				Hi,
Thanks for your interest in my Genpets site!
If you read the about page linked to at the bottom of the Genpet site pages it explains that the Genpets are actually a set of 19 robotic sculptures that have been in museum and art displays around the world.
The 19 Genpets and the website are designed more as a "what if" or "should we" if that makes sense.
No one seems to really be talking about where biotech might lead and if that's a good thing, and so that's what Genpets is meant to do. It would be wonderful to believe that biotech advancements would be used to save lives, but honestly, it will most likely just be used to make a quick buck. that's the way we do things.

you mean - making foam looking beings in plastic cases is the way of the future?
I mean you dont expect anyone to think that theres any truth to the possibility of mixing animal and human genes and chromosomes for the sake of future medical breakthroughs? I mean i understand pig intestines and hearts n such - but this is off the wall.
It is just a freaky marketing gimmick - right - I mean thats why the product is vaguely described on the site?
Am I missing something?
Please elaborate if im wrong...
