Actually, the internet was started as the ARPANET network in the U.S.
As for the boom in the internet/computer revolution, name all the companies that had a hand in that. Cisco, Microsoft, Intel, AMD, etc, etc. Those are US companies. American companies that take the smartest people from around the world and give them a chance to succeed.
I'm not saying "Americans" are the smartest, but America fosters more success than any other country.
But I'm done arguing. If you have a billion dollar idea, you are more than welcome to come to America and make it a reality. We'd love to have you.
