yeah I just moved down here from So Cal, it is much more racist in California. As they say, more races to hate.
Down here, blacks and whites hang out all day long. In Cali, it is more segregated into ethnic hoods across the metropolis.
I know a lot of people never make it out of the south, but at the same time outsiders haven't spent much time here experiencing what it is like (and mardi gras doesn't count). I like it, people are sooo much more friendly down here. And they all speak english, wouldn't ya know it.
but I grew up without a single friend who wasn't half non-American. Including myself.
