You don't go to jail for weed but you go to jail for an invalid train pass? What the hell? I used to take the train here in Edmonton a few years ago. If you didn't have a ticket, they would make you buy one. The train security carried extra tickets to sell to you. If you really pissed them off then you might get a fine.

And anytime there is an issue like this, blame the lawyers.
