Dude. One can always detect browser type and refer a specific layout template whether it is CSS or Tables. I do not think I can debate this with you anymore. I am a developer that goes for killing the chicken, thats what the client wants I can care two shits about the newest knife to do it with as long as when the chicken is served it's good and tasty.
