This isn't 1776. If you think a bunch of redneck and their shotguns and deer rifles can some stop a government that decided to become "evil" you are nuts. YOUR gun vs a tank. Whom am I betting on? If the government decide to become evil the first people taken out to be shot are people with guns. Even during the Civil War where the odds were a lot more even the south couldn't win.

if you think that if the Jews had guns that would have stopped Hitler your nuts. Look at how it took PROFESSIONAL armies to stop him. All guns would have done was to encourage Hitler to speed up the "final solution"

Last time I checked Canada, Australia and the UK are pretty free. Combined they have about 40% of the popualtion if the US and have 2% the gun death rate. hmmmmmm. I'm a HUGE believer in statistics. LOGIC and REASONING and abandoning EMOTION when making decision with ALWAYS lead to the correct answer.
