The difference being that most christians know that that text taken literally refers to ancient times, but the message of it is still clear -- that adultery is a sin. They don't literally go the fuck out and stone people to death. Only muslim extremists seem to be incapable of figuring that out.
And where in that quote does it say anything about stoning a young girl for having the audacity to get herself raped?
