You can't go into Somalia to help when they are having a civil war, the different factions just play you one against the other in their struggle for power. Probably all you can really do is wait for them to sort it out amongst themselves, then see if there's anything that can be done.

Exactly. And anyone who is waiting will be doing so for a long time I'm sure. That country as a whole seems bound and determined to repeat it's mistakes and horrors over and over again, ad nauseum.
