I spent a few years in Tokyo. Japanese chicks are certainly cute, but its some sort of behavioral brainwashing that takes place from when they are very little. They are bought up to be totally subservient to a man. They believe that most men want some sort of girl-child. Though the idea of having a pliable girlfriend who'll do your every bidding seems appealing at first, it can really grate after a while. The other thing is that Japanese chicks fall in love 5,000 times faster and 10,000 times deeper than Western ones. Keep in mind that Japanese hotels do not rent rooms to single Japanese girls because they are afraid they are only there to commit suicide. So, if your self worth is boosted by having your girlfriend question your every movement, no, every thought....
In my opinion, most foriegn guys that have a thing for Japanese chicks (in Japan) are directly related to those social misfits you find in certain bars in Bangkok.
