The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office on May 9 arrested a 26- year-old Temple Terrace man after he ran from the scene of an attempted burglary at KB Toys at 15042 Dale Mabry Highway, deputies said.

Deputies responding to an alarm found ceiling tiles on the floor, indicating someone may have tried to enter the office through the air duct. Nothing was stolen.

Andre Trotter, who is considered a suspect in the attempted burglary, was charged with loitering or prowling, obstructing or opposing a police officer and possession of cannabis. Trotter, who has a long criminal record, was denied bail on May 10 and remained in the Falkenburg Road jail this week.
