We should be readying ourselves for a bodycount many times higher than the first gulf war. Have we so soon forgotten the Gulf war? Remember those cruise missiles that could be fired from a ship in the Persian Gulf and pinpoint-hit a garage door in Bagdad? What, you think the US doesn't have much more advanced and accurate weapons now?
I'm pretty sure they do.
Soldiers coming along a street, get shot at by republican guards from a building. They get on the horn and a few minutes later the building is levelled from 500 miles away. Yeah, it'll be a nightmare, for the Iraqi army. Hopefully they'll have the sense to surrender in droves. Hopefully they choose to keep the death toll down. It's really up to them.
