Neither statement is true whether or not Obama or MCCain is president.
Would McCain like to keep the Bush tax cuts for all? Sure. Does the president pass tax laws? no. CONGRESS does. He can ASK Congress to keep the Bush tax cuts for the highest income bracket. What are the odds a Democratically controlled Congress will do that? NONE. So McCain is making promises he KNOWS he can not possibly keep. Also Mcain want to tax the health care benefits fup those same people making $250,000 as income which they are not now curently taxed. So how is he not raising taxes? McCain wants to give everyone making undeer a certain amount a $5000 check to spend on health insurance. How is that not a government handout? McCain supporters can not explain these things.
