So you think your freedom gives you the right to say just gather with all your friends in the middle of the street, blocking traffic and everyone else? Would police pushing you off the roads on to the sidewalk be taking away your freedom? If so, what about traffic trying to get through, or businesses trying to operate in the area? Does your freedom trump theirs?
This video does not show police tramping through a crowd of peaceful protestors in a park. It shows police telling people to back up off of the road on to the sidewalk.
I'm not saying this guy necessarily deserved to get hurt by a horse, but he didn't take all the reasonable steps to avoid it from happening either. So sorry, no sympathy for this kind of stupidity.
