That's because you won't. This is indeed a "different" structure than we in the industry have come to know...but most people who don't aren't educated enough about something tend to call it a "scam" or "illegal". My only advice is to either:
a. ask someone with legal knowledge who can review it themselves or if you have a good level of understanding, read the laws and decipher them yourself; or
b. find someone involved who already has taken that step, and can validate any of your doubts.
c. buy in for $40, secure a spot, and if you determine it's a scam (through the proper legal resources) you lose $40....With this method, you don't look like a jackass if you are proven wrong and can build a nice network and reserve a spot. Personally, $40 is nothing to prove or disprove something for me, and since I actually was with the guys before launch, I give it my full endorsement.
I'm sure you can find other leaders of our industry INVOLVED already who would be willing to explain in further detail. I have tried, but obviously it's like a lynch mob in here if it threatens what anyone else may be doing or if they don't understand.
