If you wanna start throwing around high crimes and treason...you're opening a much bigger can of worms than just Colin Powell.
I personally dont put any real stock in endorsements. I look at the issues and vote accordingly.
That being said...did you even read anything I wrote other than what you wanted to hear? He was doing his job.
Does that make it right? Not in my book
Does he know what he's talking about in terms of national security and military action? Absolutely.
The mans entire career is flawless except for when he was pushed to do something immoral by the Bush administration. In the military, you're taught to do whatever your commanding officers ask of you, regardless of whether its right or wrong.
We also don't know all the elements that went into him saying what he said. Perhaps he was spoonfed intelligence to support what they wanted him to say. That particular situation is not nearly as black and white as youre trying to make it out to be.
