To watermark & add images, I use premier...it's really easy to do, but other than that I really don't like the program...too much of a resource hog. Just make a bmp in photoshop and import it into premier, then drag it to the timeline. It's better to work with raw AVI when doing this too, but it can get tricky because of the 2 gig filesize limit for AVIs.

Virtual Dub has many filters from people all over the net. I searched the net and found many of them. One does add a img in targa or bmp. I just did it. I was just wondering if I used VD on the raw file before I encode it to mpg the movie might hurt quality wise.
BTW I got 1 min down to 3.5 mb now in good quality. I wonder how far down the bitrate can go ;)
