We never really had any guns to begin with. Only the gun nuts!And it was only the semi-automatics that were banned. And the people who need them - farmers - still have them.
Why not look at our per capita gun violence statistics? It makes me glad I don't live in your country. And then ask the average Aussie what they think of our gun laws?
Our culture has nowhere near the violence of yours.
And we're all very grateful.
