The result of multiplication is a
product, whereas the result of division is a
quotient
So, if you meant, where X = Normal ranking, and y = Modified ranking:
y = X+2 , it would be a sum
y = 1.33333333X ,it would be a product
y/1.33333333 = x ,it would be a quotient
