The very last person in the world that people would believe is an EX. They are a source of completely biased and jaded opinions, with their inability to correctly judge the relationship highlighted by the very fact that they are an EX.
So in the end, who cares what some obviously bitter part of his past has to say. Replying to it as if it were serious would, ironically, be the high schoolish thing to do. So rise above it because someone has to.
