I used to go after keywords like "free porn" and "hot babes" stuff like that. brought in thousands of hits a day, but conversions were low. I went after more niche specific terms that maybe bring in a few hundred to a thousand a day, but the conversions are 10x better.

My on SE traffic... these are people who are continuously looking for free porn (movies, pictures, etc). They bounce around from site to site until they find something that gives them a wide range of what they are looking for, like a tube site or TGP. So, for these people their mindset is "internet = free porn" and you have to funnel them down into a paying customer with plenty of teaser galleries and such. showing them "this is crap because its free, this is AWESOME because you pay for it"
