Just my even though this is a moot point now...

I've done this sort of thing before, and would again. Its true that more often than not kindnesses are not repaid, but thats not the point.

My theory is to go through life going the extra mile to help people in any kind of need. Sure, sometimes you get taken advantage of, but there are lots more things than dollars and cents in the long run.

If I thought the model was being genuine I would take a chance. One time we had a model that showed up ill for a shoot, and we drove her home round trip (5+ hours) to another state. Months later when she had a chance to return the favor on something, she didn't.

But that is her loss, not mine. Helping people out of a jam is its own reward.
