Personally, I hate all the weight given to any slips of the tongue. None of us know how it feels like to be sound bytes, and always have everything we say scrutinized. I am sure you know what she meant, but if you are on the other side of the fence, you will interpret it the way it helps you.

At the end of the day, we all seem to think that just because these people are political figures, means they lose their "people" category. Humans make mistakes.
