to be honest i dont play or didnt play all that much in l.a. maybe 100 times. i dont care for the l.a. club scene. i was predominantly a san diego based dj. i had 30-4 residencies there, dj'd probably 4-5 nights a week for years. went to mexico and las vegas to dj pretty frequently, but i never really liked the people in the l.a. club scene. i can't stand that superficial shit so i mostly did underground parties and such here in l.a. i've heard of goldfinger but i don't know him personally.
