i think you missunderstood my point.
it a generic word which has been used repeatedly in the context of dating sites (very difficult for trademark in the scope of dating)
which means if you were to develop it and spend say 100k/year driving traffic/branding to it, and the typo has a bleed rate of .5% you would be losing a lot more than the purchase price you have specified.
Since you can't trademark the flatters for dating sites, there is nothing to stop flatter.com from also setting up a dating site (whitelabel dating gold site) and just leeching your paid for traffic.
generic domains are good but they also have the serious problem of potential leaks, strong trademark help but in circumstances like this where the parked domain showcases prior arts to scope limited trademark it actually can be a serious negative.
