Semi automatic technology is 100+ years old and is essentially unchanged. They are banning these solely based on appearance. A semi auto requires a squeeze of the trigger for each round and they are not assault weapons as they are misleading people and the media to think. An assault weapon is a fully automatic weapon as used by the police and military. No citizen is legally able to obtain or possess such without a class III license.

An M16 is an assault weapon, a semi automatic AK47 is not an assault weapon. Many of the characteristics which these boneheads used to determine what they consider as an assault weapon are either appearance or safety features, such as a pistol grip, which is for better muzzle control.. crime statistics PROVE that these rifles are very minimally used by criminals. It is only a couple of very high profile cases which these grabbers twisted to their agenda.

You're severely living in an illusion if you think Biden and Obama won't fuck with the second amendment.

They use the disguise of "common sense" and good intention, but the true ulterior motive of any gun control laws is self preservation of the framework in place for further continuation of the erosion of civil liberties in preparation for radical change in America as we know it and in the world.
