Actually im looking at the charts right now, bottom is closer to 7500 (July 2002). I'm watching people on the news say 8000-8500 though.
I'm not familiar with the Dow Jones Industrial Average charts, but if this was a typical stock chart, i would almost guarantee it hitting 7,500. So hopefully their analysis is correct.
