Funny you say you hated her at first. I have a friend who felt the same but for some reason, he kept putting her CD in. He still isn't a big fan but he says it is growing on him like a fungus.

I came across Tori in my formative years and found her music to be thought provoking. I appreciate it from a pianists and singers view as well as I am both myself. She just spoke to me when I first heard her and her music has stuck with me through the years. It has been interesting to see/hear her evolve from the 'whiny' rape victim, through the angry woman phase, to her music now which very much represents her life as a happy wife and mother.

Again though, these are just my opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own hates and likes.
