I just watched it about 6 times and when you first see it, it looks like he's pulling a dick move... but when I watched it again a few more times, I got to thinking he was already about to introduce Obama to his wife, and didn't really expect the hand... so he wasn't really looking for the hand. And so then he just said "Ahh, this is my wife" and totally blew the handshake accidentally.

Then again... I think McCain is a dimwit. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit.
