I have used the Jack LaLanne unit for 4 years without any serious issues. I takes anything i throw at it. Even potatoes turnips parsnips with hardly any noticable drop in speed. The only other unit that works better is a Champion Juicer but its expensive and is not easy to clean

I chuck the Jack LaLanne unit in the dishwasher and walk away

Now if money is no object I have a commercial unit that cost around $5000.00 i could recommend ?
