So all those hunters who also hunt for fun not to eat but for "sport" and to brag about that big boar they shot or to get a nice deers head to put up on their wall, are these people also likely to kill innocent humans in your mind?

That soldier was not trained and sent to war to shoot dogs. He choose to do that of his own free will. He did it to be mean, and he was going to let that animal suffer. He is an asshole. The difference is that dog was not raised to be killed, the meat we eat was. The meat in my belly was raised to be killed and eaten. A hunter is not the same as a trained soldier.
