It's not about regret. When regret's the only issue, I fully agree that the model will just have to deal with it.
It's not about rough or extreme sex either. There are people shooting much more extreme things that I have no problem with at all.
To me, the problem with Max's content isn't the way the scenes look. The problem is that whenever there's a story going around about a model who totally got destroyed in a scene without any idea of what to expect, there's a good chance that it was a Max Hardcore scene. Whenever there's talk of a model considering filing charges against a porn shooter, again, a good chance it was a Max Hardcore scene.
As a producer, you have a moral obligation to deal responsibly with the people working for you. That means prepping the models well, assessing beforehand whether a model is up to the task, and pausing shooting if there's a strong indication that there's a problem.
There are many extreme BDSM producers with excellent reputations when it comes to this, so the problem isn't the nature of the content.
To anyone looking objectively at the matter, it should be obvious that Max does not take proper steps in prepping and guiding his models.

ANYTHING physical will have risks (and rewards if done correctly). For those in the fights with Kimbo (your silly analogy that has nothing to do with this), those guys could have been on the opposite end of the stick, and caused harm to Kimbo correct? In your opinion these "delicate flowers" were taken advantage of by mean ol' Max hardcore and used. It's obvious you cannot grasp and accept that there are people in this world with different tastes than yours.
Let ADULTS make their own decisions, unless you enjoy having the government in every facet of your life.

Actually, my analogy has a lot to do with this. It's about not properly informing and preparing actors before the shoot. The fact that an actor is an adult does not absolve the producer from all responsibility for what happens.
As for government interference, I'd much prefer if the industry were to regulate itself better. Unfortunately, it doesn't.
