yeah, what everyone above said. However, the other side of the story is, N. Irelande gave up fighting the Brits for independence to return to the mother land, cos the mother land sold its soul to the capitalistic devil and so no longer wants to be associated.
Better the devil you know.
Such a shame to see *ALL* the Irish fields devoid of cattle. Paying the farmers to not farm so the land could be sold to industry is going to make a soulless country in the long run.
