Fine I will go a round.
Are you kidding me? And your real support for the issue is the use of the word pray or possibly even saying oh god or maybe even god damn it?
Why am I sure about carbon dating or even more simple geology that proves we were not here at the same time or even remotely near the time of the dinosaurs? Because I understand how the shit works. Not to mention I am very into geology and rocks. Sediment and rock layers combined with many other factors just prove without a logical doubt of these truths.
Your over simplified versions of evolution are also quirky and highly off. Yes at some point long long after basic microbes and such ruled the oceans, long after other fish life did as well. Eventually some started in on moving to land. The would eventually lead to be some of the first reptile type creatures. Pass a lot more time and some of these crawled back into the sea. Some had branched out to no longer be cold blooded, and so forth. Your should be aware of the story. Large reptiles pretty much ruled the roost. Some started the very basics of flight but it was not as birds do today. Insert big disaster such as a comet as most believe that hit near present day Mexico. Big reptiles die off in this period and is where they stop in the geological record. Small mammals that had the ability to burrow and such happened to be of the 5% or so of life that made it past the disaster. They would evolve too. Add assorted climate changes, high co2 and/or high oxygen and you get large animals again this time mammals. Insert more climate change and less food supplies and you see the beginning of the fall of large animals. You would have been seeing primates and eventually early humans. Different branches and ancestors and you get our ancestors and close relatives as far back as 160,000 years ago or so going by fossil record.
Now if I was to believe in god as a creator etc. Perhaps I would be open to think that maybe the whole thing was gods plan, even the way evolution worked, and how the universe was formed. I just know I would never base my beliefs on the natural world based on a book written by people, a book that got many others killed for even thinking the Earth revolved around the Sun.
Which by the way would also still be a belief of those that take the bible literally, the same that think the Earth is only 6,000 years old.
