I was in high school during the late 90s, my main musical interests Punk Rock from the late 70s/early 80s (due to my brother and the local college radio station) in addition to hip hop and trance/house. If the question is do kids today view, 80's music as "old school," "classic," or "their parents music," then I think the answer would be "yes."
Since we are on the topic of the "youth of today," what the fuck is up with Emo? It's so bad, everything about it sucks, it's all absolutely awful. I just don't understand how anyone could like that garbage.
