This whole idea of Propaghandi innovating by mixing punk and metal is mind numbing.
This was Gorilla Biscuits doing it in 1989. Before that, we had bands like the Cro-Mags, Agnostic Front, Negative Approach.
Who did Propaghandi rip off?
Gorilla Biscuits - New Direction 1989 godfathers of youthcrew hardcore
Agnostic Front - Crucified 1987 back when they were good.
This punk metal hybrid has been around awhile. Some of us call it hardcore. Propoghandi did not invent it.

I don't think of metal at all when I think of Propagandhi. Maybe I just haven't listened to their newer shit. Crucified is an Iron Cross song. They played at AF's 20th anniversary show. Nothin like hearin Roger yell CRUCIFIED and yelling SKINHEAD ARMY right back in his face with a bunch of other drunk skins at CBGB's.
Wow am I gonna post to this thread again? We will see...
