Maybe not.
The conventional wisdom is that the "
bubba factor" adds up to 6 percentage points. In other words, if a poll shows Obama leading by 7 points or more; he really is leading. If on the other hand, a poll shows him leading by 6 points or less, then McCain is really ahead.
The way things are playing out it's looking more and more like Bubba will be crying in his beer come election day
