That's how it works. In a perfect world everyone gets along great and they always see eye to eye. As a successful businessmen, you know that this certainly isn't the case.
you choose your meddling wisely and don't cater to dictators when you want to be a good guy. All nations have the right of self-determination. You can't claim it for yourself and deny it to everyone else because the balance of power ALWAYS shifts sooner or later and payment always comes due.
