You know I've got to say these are really weird times.
When else in history could you find:
The ACLU and certain conservative republicans forging an alliance to contest the Patriot Act.
And similarly, have arch-conservatives (albeit paleoconservatives) allying with liberals in their opposition to the War.
Very fucking strange, no?
