What do we force onto anyone's TV broadcasts?
I've heard people all over the world bitch about american tv and movies, mcdonalds, and style. If the rest of the world didn't want it, it wouldn't exist there. If no one ate at the McDonalds it would not be in that area or even country. It's pure and simple economics. Supply and demand. We have what the rest of the world wants so the rest of the world embraces various aspects. Worldwide people might sneer at and make fun of things like Walmart, but they shop there. Don't like it? Don't want it in your country? Don't shop there and have others do the same.
