remember, it could be the server too. wordpress IS very heavy, the point of caching it is to make it heavy once every 15 minutes. other then that it serves static html files.

after that start tweaking.

note: the pain in tthe ass with supercahce, you have to clear it everytime you want to make updates in the template, otherwise you have to wait up to 15 min.
