McCain scored better on this because he did propose a possible dramatic action in cutting spending on all but a few critical things. It may not work, but he laid out something specific he would likely do.
The reality is the President can't fix the problem. I'm with those that say don't go thru with a bailout. It's best to have some pain now than to postpone it and make it even worse.
