Ever since "Politician" bacame a profession in this country, everythign has gone to shit. Why is it, that LAWYERS are the butt of more jokes about their integrity and character - but totally revered as politicians?
If anyone in the 2008 presidential race is a 'Washington outsider' it's Palin. Personally, I think that's more of what the U.S. needs in Washington. I would have thought the same about Obama - until it was clear that he is just as tied to PAC's, lobbyists and special interest groups as every other prominent 'lifer' in the Congress.

she stood up to no one and she has taken pork with both hands. She hired a lobbyist when she was mayor of bumpfuck alaska and left it 20 million in debt. Took 250 million for the bridge to nowhere when it became unpopular became against it but kept the money. Her state takes the most pork in the country.
