Buffet's stock purchases at Berkshire have averaged 27% per year gain since 1965. If you count back to when he had the Buffet partnership in '56 it is 30% per year for 56 years. So if you invested $1000 in 1956 and compounded at that rate you'd have $2.4 billion today.
