I listened to a program today with an inteview with David Servan Schreiber (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Servan-Schreiber). He's written a book called Anti Cancer (anticancerbook.com) in which he tells his tale of self diagnosing his own cancer. It's not a BS story or an affiliate tale, he's a real doctor who scanned his own head and found the malignant cancer in his brain.
Anyway his book discusses the important of conventional medicine (radiation) and the strengthening of the bodies natural cancer defenses with natural stuff.
Did you know, 1 in 3 people develop cancer? Scary.
Also interesting is world panic over relatively low risk items such as SARs, avian flu, etc which have claimed < 100 lives and the passivity of the world on cancer - 33% of people will develop.
