First, I hate spam as much as anyone else, and unlike most on this board I've NEVER done an email campaign in my life. Having said that - I'm kind of glad they threw that out. I wouldn't have minded him doing a year or maybe two, but to get NINE years for spamming? That's just fucking nuts. I don't want my tax dollars going to house and feed a spammer for 9 years. I hate America's draconian sentencing for all these non-violent offenses. Pot dealers and spammers get decades while rapists and murders get 5 or 6 years. It's stupid.
