As far as John From Cincinnati, I actually liked that show even though it was a bit off beat. It was another one IMO that had a good story line but you really had to pay attention to follow it. However again if you hadn't watched from the start or didn't pay attention, you would be totally lost in the story line.
True Blood I'm still up in the air about it. It isn't as good as I had hopped it would be, but who knows maybe it will get better.

I personally think their perspective is to stuff their wallets as fat as they can and insult the intelligence of their viewers.
Switch to Showtime. Dexter starts soon. The novels are even better than the cable series.
It would be a public service to get HBO off the air before they do some serious damage to someone's mental health
