You can'tbackup your rumor statement from any half legit news source. It's all blogs and forums talking about Biden stepping down. That's not a rumor - that's more stupid people spreading more stupid around.
It would be a rumor, if an actual news/media source printed it, saying they heard it from within the DNC directly but can't confirm it. Then, it would be a rumor - until then, the stupidity clearly continues.
