You probably won't take this seriously...
Learn the basics of meditation, get in a good posture, settle down into a nice breath meditation for 10 or 15 minutes, and then start to look really closely at all the thoughts and feelings that make you feel depressed. Look really really closely. Try to find it. Don't let your thoughts run off into fantasies and don't get caught up. Just stay apart and look.
You'll be amazed at what you find and what happens if you do this earnestly.
